We plant balled-and-burlapped trees up to 4" caliper using a Bobcat-mounted tree spade for clean, fast, deep-set installations — the kind that establish quickly because the root flare is at the right depth and the root ball isn’t broken up.

Species selection
We recommend species that thrive in Maryland soil and your specific microclimate. Native preferred wherever possible.
Site prep & install
Soil tested, root flare set at grade, root ball backfilled with native soil + compost amendment.
Mulch, water, stake
3" of mulch (not against the trunk), deep watering, and staking only when truly needed.
